Bluboo S3, the well-designed big battery phone, was
widely reported during the MWC 2018 show in Barcelona and now we have the full
specs revealed.
Bluboo S3 adopts a similar design language as the
Samsung Galaxy S9 as both try to make a more immersive big screen, larger
screen-to-body ratio and offer better user experience. The S3 sports a 6″ 18:9
FHD+ Sharp display while the top and bottom bezels are as small as possible,
resulting in a screen-to-body ratio of almost 91%. On the back, the fingerprint
sensor is put below camera setup so that it is more convenient for the finger
to reach. What’s more, Bluboo S3 is accurately curved on the edge based on an
analysis of human palm data, so that it can still offer comfortable handle
feeling although the phone is a bit thicker than average due to the huge
battery.
Bluboo S3 runs on an octa-core SoC paired with 4GB
of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB more. The front
camera features a 13MP Samsung sensor and the dual camera on the back (also
from Samsung) is a 21MP/5MP combo. Most importantly, the capacity of the
battery reaches 8500mAh, supporting 12V/2A fast charge and 1A output for
reverse charging feature. It takes just 2.5h to charge the device from 0% to
100% while the company claims that it can last for up to 6 days. On the bottom,
there is a USB Type-T 3.0 port supporting OTG function. Lastly, it sports NFC
chip and covers 10 LTE bands around the world.
