BLU Products is back with yet another entry-level
handset. The new BLU Vivo One Plus offers slightly better specs than the BLU
Vivo One, which made its debut on the market back in February.
First off, the Vivo One Plus sports a larger 6-inch
HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) display, whereas the previous model comes with a
5.5-inch HD+ screen. Moreover, the new smartphone packs a 13-megapixel
rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash and a secondary 13-megapixel selfie
camera with LED flash.
A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is included as
well, along with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor. Since this is an
entry-level device, BLU added only 2GB RAM and 16GB storage inside, but the
phone packs a massive 4,000 mAh battery.
Sadly, BLU Products continues to launch
Nougat-powered smartphones, and the Vivo One Plus is no exception. Also, it's
highly unlikely that the phone will ever receive an Android Oreo update in the
future. On the bright side, the phone features dual-SIM support and is fully
compatible with GSM carriers in the US such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and
MetroPCS.
Although the BLU Vivo One Plus has already been
listed on the company's website, it's not yet available for purchase and
there's no price tag attached to it.
