MWC was one of the most successful of the last few
years and many companies demonstrated their latest technologies to the world.
Some known Chinese mobile brands like Doogee, Ulefone, and Leagoo were also
present at the event. Vkworld was absent but they are actually working on
something even more exciting.
As we all know, most curved OLED displays we see on
smartphones come from Samsung. The technology is extremely difficult to achieve
and even LG can’t compete with Samsung. However, a Chinese manufacturer named
Tianma has conquered the difficulties of flexible displays. In an earlier
report, Tianma had shown us their latest curved display and now Vkworld is also
going to introduce this technology to their new products as we can see from the
video they posted on YouTube.
The display will feature COF technology, which can
curve the edge of the display like Samsung phones and the bezel will be much
smaller. Vkworld suggests that this display will soon be used on their flagship
model breaking the price record of flexible-display phones.
