The Sony Xperia XZ2 was made official at Mobile
World Congress on Monday, the handset
was announced with 4GB of RAM but there will also be a 6GB version for some
countries.
It looks like the UK, US and Canada will come with
the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage version of the handset as standard. This is
on top of Taiwan and Hong Kong that were announced previously. It would appear
that other countries will come with the 4GB version.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon
845 mobile processor and it will feature a 5.7 inch display with a 18:9 aspect
ration and a FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The device also comes with
high end cameras on the front and back.
The cameras include a rear facing 19 megapixel
Motion Eye camera for photos and videos and a front facing 5 megapixel camera
for Selfies and video chat. The handset will also come with Android 8.0 Oreo.
There is also another version of the device with a smaller 5 inch display and
slightly different specifications, the Xperia XZ2 Compact.
