The Moto G6 Play is one of the many smartphones
Motorola plans to introduce this spring. Pictures of the device have already
been leaked online, so if you've been following our news, then you probably
know that the phone looks like.
That being said, it looks like the Taiwanese
regulatory agency spilled the beans on the Moto G6 Play and published a few
pictures of the phone alongside some of the accessories that come inside the
retail box.
The Moto G6 Play will definitely
include a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port. The rest of the phone's specs
aren't mentioned in the filing document, but based on the previous rumors we
know it's supposed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, paired
with either 3GB or 4GB RAM, as well as 32GB or 64GB internal memory.
Another major selling point of the Moto G6 Play
could be large 5.7-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Other highlights of
the phone include a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, Android 8.0 Oreo and,
possibly, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Along with the Moto G6 Play, Motorola is expected to
unveil a few other smartphones, including the regular Moto G6 and the beefed-up
Moto G6 Plus.
