The Meizu 15, 15 Lite and 15 Pro have made an
appearance on TENAA, hinting towards an imminent launch. It has been months
since the Meizu 15 series reports have been popping up before their scheduled
Spring 2018 release. The three devices appeared on Android’s official website
and even received the 3C certification around the same time. Let’s take a look
at what the TENAA listing reveals.
Honestly speaking, the design is nothing unique. It
looks very much like an iPhone. From the front camera on the top bezel to the
fingerprint scanner on the bottom. There seems to be nothing unique about the
design here. On the back lies a vertically aligned dual camera setup with a
circular LED flash. The back is probably made of metal judging from the antenna
lines running on the top and bottom. The spec sheet reveals a 5.46-inch screen
which is expected to have an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Meizu 15 will measure 143 x
72 x 7.25mm and sport a 2940mAh battery. Other than that, the listing reveals the
various networks the Meizu 15 will support.
Literally a bigger version of the Meizu 15, as far
as design goes. No distinct features whatsoever. Looks very much like a fat
iPhone. The only differences are the 5.95-inch screen, 3420mAh battery and
dimensions that measure 153.8 x 78.25 x 7.25mm.
This is the Meizu 15 with all the extra goodies
removed. Looks exactly the same to the Meizu 15(even dimensionally), but lacks
a dual camera setup. The battery setup is a 3000/3050mAh unit. The difference
in battery indicates the presence of a lower range processor, although nothing
can be said for sure as of now.
