Huawei has launched another full screen
design phone called the Mate SE in the U.S. Actually, it is a rebranded version
of the Honor 7X smartphone that includes some upgraded features. The Mate SE
will be selling alongside the Honor 7X in the country.
When it comes to design, the Huawei bears
resemblance with the Honor 7X. It is packed with a 5.99-inch FHD+ LCD display
that is placed in a metallic body. The Honor 7X comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32
GB of storage. However, the Mate SE includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
The other specs of the Mate SE are same as Honor 7X.
It is fueled by Kirin 659 chipset that includes a 2.36 GHz octa-core processor.
The dual camera sitting on the back panel of the Mate SE features a main sensor
of 16-megapixel and a secondary sensor of 2-megapixel. The handset receives
power from a 3,340mAh battery. It comes pre-installed with Android 8.0 Oreo
that is flavored with EMUI 8.0.
The unlocked Huawei Mate SE is available with a
price tag of US$ 229 through Amazon, Best Buy and B&H. The Honor 7X is selling
in the country with a pricing of US$ 199. As shown in the above images, the Mate
SE can be availed in Grey and Gold colors.
