At this year’s Mobile World Congress 2018 technology
event currently taking place in Barcelona, Spain. Archos is showcasing their
new cryptocurrency hard wallet in the form of the Archos Safe-T, which will be
available during June 2018 priced at just €50. The circular Archos Safe-T
cryptocurrency hard wallet measures just 58 mm x 7.8 mm in size and features
the ability to generate and store a private key on the wallet offline,
preventing hackers from gaining access to your private key while you are
online.
The Archos Safe-T is also capable of executing all
crypto operations on the device offline, as well as providing details of its
contents via the embedded display screen, enabling users to check transaction
details before signing. Due to the technology included in the Archos Safe-T
there is no way for hackers to modify transactions unnoticed and the hard
wallet always requires a PIN code for access.
Specifications of the Archos Safe-T crypto hard
wallet include an OLED display with a resolution of one 128 x 64 pixels,
powered by a 120 MHz ARM processor Cortex-M3 processor with connectivity via a
Micro USB HID 2.0. Safe-T also supports all major operating systems including
Microsoft Windows, Google Android, Linux and Mac OS X. For more details and
