Developers or those looking for an embedded mini PC
may be interested to know that award-winning embedded system creator AAEON, has
announced new additions to its range of embedded mini PC systems. With the
announcement of the launch of the AAEON Boxer 6640, taking the form of an
embedded controller that can be powered by either a 6th or 7th Generation Intel
Core Desktop processor, depending on your needs and requirements, all supported
by DDR4 memory.
The new Boxer 6640 embedded controller has been
specifically built for automation and machine vision applications and comes
equipped with 2 x LAN ports, 4 x USB3.0 ports, and 3 x USB2.0 ports. Allowing
the embedded system to be connected to a range of cameras, sensors, while also
providing an 8-bit DIO to allow connections to control connected systems based
on digital inputs.
The small embedded computer is also equipped with
VGA port and two further combined HDMI and DP ports for dual display output,
this controller can easily serve as the hub of an effective HMI solution.
