Graphics hardware manufacturer Sapphire has this
week rolled out information on a new addition to its range of Radeon graphics
cards with the Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 560 LITE Series graphics card which is
expected to be priced around US$ 100. Although worldwide availability has not yet
been announced by Sapphire.
The Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 560 LITE Series is
equipped with the 896 stream-processor variants of the “Polaris 21” silicon,
rather than the 1,024 SP version the RX 560 SKU and is available with either
four or 2 GB of on-board memory. The latest graphics card comes slightly
factory overclocked with the GPU engine offering 1300 MHz with memory that is
clocked at 7.00 GHz GDDR5-effective and provides a somewhat more
high-performance graphics card when compared to the original Pulse RX 560.
The Pulse Radeon RX 560 LITE is equipped with a
cooling system features a more extensive rectangular aluminium heatsink which
is ventilated by dual fans and includes a separate heatsink directly attached
to the VRM. Power requirements for the Pulse Radeon RX 560 LITE take the form
of a single 6-pin PCIe power connector.
