MSI has unveiled a new curved gaming monitor this
week in the form of the MSI OPTIX MPG27CQ which offers a 27 inch display
providing users with a WQHD resolution offering 2560 x 1440 pixels. Delivering
refresh rates of up to 144Hz with a 1 ms response time and 178/178 viewing
angles. Other features include sRGB and NTSC coverage at 115% and 100%,
respectively, Adaptive Sync technology to avoid in-game screen tearing and a
frameless design.
The MSI OPTIX MPG27CQ curved gaming monitor offers
flicker free, Blue Light Filter technologies with a 3000:1 contrast ratio
connections via 2 x HDMI 2.0, 1 x DisplayPort 1.2, 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A and
1x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-B on the rear of the monitor. As with other monitors in
the range the LED lights underneath the monitor can be preconfigured to provide
in game notifications of when shields are recharged or certain macros are still

announced as yet by MSI for the new OPTIX MPG27CQ gaming monitor but as soon
