Meizu has started sharing invites for a March 6
launch event. A couple of invitations have to come light, revealing the names
E3 G and E3 P. This indicates there could be two variants of the handset.
It's being speculated that G and P signify the
models will be aimed at gaming and photography, respectively, although the
possibility of a single phone having both these selling points can't be denied
as well.
The device leaked in live images recently, revealing
things like a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dual rear camera setup in a
vertical orientation, and a screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. Rumored price tag is
CNY 2,000, which currently translates to $315.
