We recently saw a picture of what is rumored to be
the display for the new iPhone X Plus and now we have some more details about
the handset. Apple will launch three iPhone X models this year, an iPhone X
Plus with a 6.5 inch OLED display, an iPhone X with a 5.8 inch OLED display and
a cheaper iPhone X with a 6.1 inch LCD display.
According to a recent report by Bloomberg’s Mark
Gurman, the new larger iPhone X will be Apple’s largest iPhone to date. The
handset is said to measure about an inch more in diagonal length than the
iPhone 8 Plus.
The 6.5 inch display on the new larger iPhone is
said to come with a resolution of 2688 x 1242, of course this could change by
release as this is the resolution that is currently being used in prototypes of
the handset.
The handset is apparently going to feature all of
Apple’s new high end technology and will be marketed as the ultimate mobile
phone. Apple will also introduce a new iPhone X with a 5.8 inch display and
their cheaper iPhone X with an LCD display.
Apple’s new iPhome X handsets start at US$ 999, the new
LCD iPhone X will have the same design as the OLED handsets but will cost
around $700. All three devices will come with a new Apple A12 processor and
will also feature Apple’s Face ID technology. We are expecting Apple to launch
their new iPhones some time in September or October.
