The Fujifilm X-series is known to deliver some of
the best cameras. Now, they are releasing the newest and strongest mirrorless
camera in the series the X-H1.
The Fujifilm X-H1 is a combination of a robust and
durable body with great image quality plus easy operation. It is the first
camera in the series to have the 5-axis In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) that
has a maximum 5.5 stops. It also has the ETERNA Film Simulation that help
produce cinema quality videos.
The build of the X-H1 is really good as it has dust
resistance, water resistance and the ability to operate on extremely low
temperature of up to -10 degrees Celsius. It is also constructed using a
magnesium alloy 25% thicker than the ones used for the Fujufilm X-T2. The body,
even though made to be more rugged and durable, still maintains a compact
design language that makes it easy to handle.
It has a high magnification, high precision
electronic viewfinder. It has a 0.75 magnification with a 3.69 million
resolution which is the highest among mirrorless cameras. The viewfinder only
has a 0.005 seconds of latency and a framerate of 100 FPS. The LCD monitor, on
the other hand, is 3-direction lit, 3-inch LCD panel.
It also has a more operational design that has 19
modifications based on feedback from professional photographers. It has a
laser-grip designed that gives a more stable grip when holding the camera. It
also has the "quietest" shutter sound that can be useful during sound
sensitive shoots like when shooting animals. It also has an AF-ON feature that
allows for an easier operation of the autofocus just by using your thumb.
It also has the first flicker reduction mode among
the cameras in Fujifilm X-series. In addition to that, it has a better
autofocus algorithms for enhanced shooting toughness. It is now also an ideal
movie production camera as it has better and more comprehensive range of video
features such as ETERNA mode, extreme slow motion at 1080p/120FPS and the DCI
4K mode.
