Sennheiser has created a new version of its AMBEO
Smart Headset finished in black, which is now exclusively available to purchase
via the online Apple Store, priced at US$ 300. Delivery is now available and the
Sennheiser AMBEO Smart Headset has been created to combine the companies
headphone technology and 3D AMBEO expertise with Apogee’s deep knowledge of
digital audio.
The AMBEO Smart headphones come complete with their
own iOS application providing “high-fidelity sound and the ability to tune in
or tune out the sounds around you”. While features of the smart headphones
include built-in microphones for 3D audio recording enabling users to capture
sounds in a way that we would normally hear them as well as being equipped with
an additional telephone microphone that allows users to take calls and operate
voice control on their iPhone.
The smart headphones are equipped with a Lightning
connection for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and support recording with any
application that captures stereo audio including the iPhone camera application.
The headphones are also equipped with Active Noise Cancellation to block any
unwanted distractions in your surroundings, as well as Apogee proprietary Soft
Limit and mic preamp plus precisely tuned A/D and D/A conversion.
