We have been hearing about Vivo’s new smartphone
with an in display fingerprint scanner since earlier in the month, the device
is now official, the Vivo X20 Plus UD. Vivo showed off their new technology at
CES earlier this month and now it is launching in the Vivo X20 Plus UD.
The handset comes with a 6.43 inch OLED display that
features a FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, the devices is powered by a
Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of
built in storage.
The handset also comes with a microSD card slot
which supports up to 128GB cards and the device has a fingerprint scanner built
into the display. The handset comes with high end cameras on the front and
back.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD features a 12 megapixel front
facing camera for Selfies, on the back of the device there are two cameras. One
has a 24 megapixel sensor and the other a 5 megapixel sensor. The handset
features a 3905 mAh battery with support for fast charging and it comes with
WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G VoLTE.
The device is launching in China this month on the
29th of January and it will cost 3598 Yuan which is about (€ 456/US$ 565) at the
current exchange rate. As yet there are no details on whether it is headed to
other counties.
