Musicians or anyone looking for a more professional
recording device when compared to their smartphone, may be interested in the
new high resolution audio recorder created and launched by Roland this week in
the form of the R-07. The Roland R-07 audio recorder has been designed to
provide mission-critical recording features in a small ultraportable device.
Offering one touch Scene memory, and Hybrid Limiting ensure great sounding
recordings no matter what the situation, says Roland.
Equipped with Bluetooth Qualcomm aptX technology for
enhanced streaming and a companion application allowing you to control the
digital audio recorder directly from your smartphone or supported smartwatch.
Recorded audio can be played back via a Bluetooth speaker or wireless
headphones depending on your preference.
Roland has included both Dual Recording and Hybrid
Limiting to help stop ruin any vital recordings due to overload or clipping,
and Roland says users need not worry about artefacts from aggressive limiting
either as the R-07 can make two simultaneous recordings. One at full level and
another at a lower level with increased headroom. If there’s unexpected
clipping does occur in your main recording, the backup recording can be used to
replace that section, although Hybrid Limiting can even handle this
automatically.
The Roland R-07 audio recorder is now available to
purchase priced at around US$ 229, for more information and full specifications
