This month new VAIO laptops have been unveiled by
their Japanese PC manufacturer, now equipped with 8th Gen Intel Core processors
in the form of the new VAIO S11 and S13 models, which are expected to be priced
around US$ 1365 when they launch. Unfortunately no details on worldwide
availability have been released as yet but as soon as more information becomes
available we’ll keep you updated as always.
The new VAIO S11 laptop weighs 1.9lbs is equipped
with an 11.6 inch display offering users a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and
a rechargeable battery that is capable of powering the laptop for up to 15
hours on a single charge. The larger VAIO 13 laptop weighs 2.4lbs as the name
suggests is equipped with a 13.3 inch screen also offering users a resolution
of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Processor options take the form of Intel Core i5-8250U
or Core i7-8550U quad-core CPUs that can be supported by up to 16GB of RAM, and
1TB of solid state storage if desired, and your budget will stretch.
Both new VAIO laptops are also equipped with 3 x USB
3.0 ports, 1 x HDMI port, an SD card reader, VGA, LAN and connectivity via
support for 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1. There is also an optional 4G LTE
connection available if desired. As soon as more details are announced regards
availability outside of Japan we will keep you up-to-date as always.
