Ahead of this year’s National Association of Music
Merchants (NAMM) exhibition, pioneer has unveiled a new addition to its
ever-growing range of DJ controllers with the introduction of the Pioneer
DDJ-1000. A four channel professional performance DJ controller for rekordbox
dj which supports both Windows and Mac operating systems. Watch the video below

available during the middle of February 2018, priced at US$ 1200. To help you get
started straight out of the box the DJ controller will also come supplied with
a license key for rekordbox dj, saving you a US$ 129 purchase if you don’t already
have the application.
Features of the DDJ-1000 include to rear USB ports
allowing DJs to making changeovers between DJs or back-to-back sets an easy
process. The new DJ controller also allows users to assign every channel to USB
A, USB B, or phono / line enabling channels to be divided up if multiple DJs are
playing together. Other features include 14 Beat FX, including four new
versions as well as the ability to instantly trigger Hot Cues, Loops and more
with the 16 multi-coloured Performance Pads. Pioneer has installed customisable
colour LCD displays located in the centre of each jog wheel providing easy
access to all the information you need whether that be BPM, waveform, playback
position or Hot Cue and Loop points.
