Korg has unveiled a new four channel
analogue mixer they have created in the form of the Korg Volca Mix, a
performance mixer designed to enable users to build a live setup combining
multiple volca units into one comprehensive music system. Watch the
demonstration video below to learn more about what you can expect from the new
Korg Volca Mix analogue mixer, which is equipped with master effects powered by
all-analog circuitry, says Korg.
The four-channel analog mixer is fitted-out with an
“intuitive interface” and a wealth of connectivity providing two mono inputs
and one stereo input. Enabling you to make connections using just one stereo
mini-cable from the headphone out on each of your Korg volca modules. Korg has
also enabled the channel volumes with vertical faders that allow precise
control and the gain can be boosted to adjust the mix balance if desired. Mute
buttons are also provided, and each channel is equipped with a LO/HI CUT filter
providing control over high and low frequencies from a single control.
Unfortunately no information on availability or
pricing has been announced as yet by Korg, but as soon as more information
comes to light we will keep you up-to-date as always. In the meantime jump over
to the official Korg website for full specifications and more details on each
feature of the new 2018 Korg Volca Mix four channel analogue mixer.
