Jamboxx is a new hands-free MIDI controller and
electronic wind instrument that has been designed to be played using your
breath in a similar way to that of a wind instrument. Set to play 12 notes on a
C major chromatic scale the Jamboxx can be adjusted using a modulation wheel on
the side allowing musicians to move across operatives. The same navigation
wheel can also be used to change pitch bend, vibrato, and other types of
modulation if desired. A button Located on the bottom of the Jamboxx can be
used to switch between instrument, key, or scale and because the instrument is
a MIDI it can be assigned to play any sound whether it be a guitar, piano or
synthesiser.
The newly designed Jamboxx has once again launched
with a new website and is now available to purchase in a Professional Edition US$ 399. Watch the video below to learn more about the hands-free electronic wind
instrument, that has been created to allow music creation by all ages and
abilities.
Due to the unique characteristics of the Jamboxx its
developers see the musical instrument is a perfect accompaniment to those
musicians that are already playing instruments using their hands, such as a
guitar or piano. Or for those musicians who are physically or cognitively
impaired. More details and further specifications jump over to the official
Jamboxx website.
