BEAK is a new smart home controller, designed by a
team of engineers at ControlAny based in Boston, specially designed to enable
you to create your perfect smart home automation system. BEAK allows you to
control almost any appliance within your home, lighting system or gadget
remotely using the fully featured smartphone companion application created
specifically for BEAK. The development team responsible for BEAK explain that
their system is compatible with all wireless protocols and uses a low-power
high-performance CPU to provide the optimal solution.
The small smart home controller is also equipped
with capacitive touch and ambient light technology and is also fitted with
sensors that are capable of tracking humidity and temperature. The BEAK Smart
home control system is now available to back via Indiegogo with early bird
pledges starting from just US$ 130 and shipping expected to take place during June
2018 if all goes well and the company raise their required goal of US$ 60,000.
With still over a month remaining on the campaign the team has already passed
the halfway goal and is 53 percent funded.
BEAK is capable of running over 65,000 different
commands from over 2,000 models and 500 brands of smart technology from
televisions to air-conditioners. As well as supporting RF protocols such as
BLE, ZigBee, WiFi and ZWave.
