Interesting news have come today from Chinese phone
maker UHANS. The company is apparently working on an high-end version of their
successful i8 full-screen device. The new smartphone will be called UHANS i8
Pro, it’ll feature a more advanced CPU and more memory; keep reading to learn
more!
UHANS announced that the new handset will indeed be featuring the
latest Mediatek MTK6763 16nm octa-core processor clocked at 2.0Ghz. This is
great news as smaller phone manufacturers usually avoid higher-end (on the
Mediatek side) SoCs to reduce losses.
The more recent CPU will greatly enhances the system
compatibility with applications on a 18:9 aspect ratio screen, what’s more, it
actually supports photo capture with a shallow depth of field (bokeh effect).
The upgraded version should bring a better user experience to the already
trendy full screen smartphone.
As far as memory goes, the UHANS i8 Pro will be
packing a whopping 6GB of RAM as opposed to the 4GB RAM we had on the UHANS i8,
a well as 64GB of internal storage. This
hardware combo will offer more room for downloading or storing files, such as
videos, pictures, etc. Thanks to the advanced DDR4 SD RAM we’ll also get a 50%
increased performance and bandwidth while decreasing voltage and power
efficiency of the entire operating system. That also means that the UHANS i8
Pro is fully capable to operate various APPs simultaneously with no hiccups.
Same can be said for games that should be running as smooth as possible, even
heavy ones.
Since the UHANS i8 Pro is not yet available, you can
currently get the cheaper UHANS i8 that features a full screen design, 18:9
aspect ratio and face ID.
