Magic Leap this
week unveil their new Magic Leap One mixed reality headset, which is expected
to start shipping sometime during next year. The announcement was made via
Twitter with a quick video teaser.
Although no specifications have been
announced as yet maybe more will be revealed at the upcoming CES 2018
technology show next month. Magic Leap has been developing the mixed reality
headset for some time and was founded back in 2010 by Rony Abovitz and has
raised 1.4 billion from a list of investors including Google and Alibaba.
Features of the Magic Leap One platform include:

– visual perception
– persistent objects
– sound field audio
– high-powered chipset
– Next Generation interface
