LG pre-announced the new generation LG Gram laptops
earlier, the company's line of very slim laptops that will be fully unveiled at
CES Las Vegas in January.
The LG Gram series will feature three models
including a 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 1.56-inch variants. All three will have
compact sleek designs, slim bezels, and light in weight. In particular, the
laptops will just weigh at 965 g, 995 g, and 1,095 g respectively.
These devices will be powered by Intel's 8th gen
Core i5 and Core i7 processors, SSD storage, and even a second SSD drive slot.
Boot time should be under 10 seconds as well. The new Gram laptops will also be
made out of MIL-STD-810G grade Nano Carbon Magnesium full metal bodies with
resistance to impact, pressure, and temperature.
The Grams will also have optional touchscreen,
fingerprint reader, and Thunderbolt 3 port.
