Huawei announced their Honor 9 smartphone back in
June and now they are launching a more affordable version of the handset, the
Huawei Honor 9 Youth Edition. The Huawei Honor 9 Youth Edition comes with a
5.65 inch display that has a Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and
comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The handset comes with a Kirin 659 processor and has
a choice of 3GB or 4GB of RAM, you can also choose between 32GB and 64GB of
storage. Other specifications on the Honor 9 Youth Edition include a microSD card slot and dual cameras
on the front and back. Both the front and back cameras are the same, one has a
13 megapixel sensor and the other a 2 megapixel sensor.
Pricing for the handset starts at CNY 1,199 for the
3GB/32GB model and CNY 1,499 for the 4GB/32GB. The 4GB and 64GB model will cost
CNY1,799. The handset will go on sale in China on the 26th of December, it is
also coming to the UK, India and Russia.
