Although it is still early to talk about the new HTC
flagship, rumors are already starting to show up on tech news sites around the
world. The recent acquirement from Google of the team that was working on Pixel
phones may complicate things a bit as HTC has entered a phase of
reorganization, but new devices are definitely coming in 2018 and one of the
will be HTC U12.
After every big manufacturer jumped on the
full-display design wagon, HTC is the “last of the Mohicans” as far as big
manufacturers are concerned. And this will end in 2018 as it is rumored that
the U12 will come with a full-display, bezel-less design, and 4K resolution. In
addition, the dual camera setup will return after the break that followed the
HTC M8 flagship. What’s more, the body of the device will be made of glass and
the 3.5mm jack will probably leave us once and for all.
All these should be taken with a grain of salt, as
it is too early for any confirmed specs. In the photos, you can see some
possible renders of the HTC U12.
