Harman International has launched the Allure
voice-activated speaker in India with Amazon Alexa support. It was first
introduced at the IFA 2017 event in Berlin and is capable of producing 360-degree Harman Kardon sound. It is a hands-free
speaker that can be controlled with voice commands.
The in-built Alexa support is capable of playing
music, read the news, make purchases from Amazon.in, and more. The company’s
proprietary far-field voice technology allows the speaker to hear commands from
a far distance or even in noisy environments.
Currently Amazon Alexa in slowly evolving and has
already mastered about 11,000 skills and gets voice supports from platforms
like Uber, Ola, Goibibo, Jet Airways, Faasos, Box8, Freshmenu, Zomato, Tarla
Dalaal, Amazon Prime Music, Saavn, ESPN, Cricinfo, Bollywood Hungama, Times of
India, NDTV, ABP Live, AajTak, Byju’s, UrbanClap, Housejoy as well as
control Smart Home products from Syska,
Phillips, Silva.
There is an ambient light that will react to the
voice commands and move along with the rhythm of the music. It connects through
WiFi and supports dual band and has Built-in 4-microphones with advanced noise
cancellation technology for hands-free voice control.
The built-in subwoofer produces rich 360-degree
audio and can wirelessly stream music through mobile via Bluetooth. The Harman
Kardon Allure is priced at Rs. 22,490 and available exclusively for Prime
members on Amazon.in through invite.
