Acer today launched Predator 21 X, the company’s
latest gaming notebook in India. It is the world’s first notebook to feature a
curved screen and was introduced at the CES earlier this year. It has a curved
21-inch (2560 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate with NVIDIA
G-SYNC technology, is powered by 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor,
comes with cooling fans and 16GB dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs in SLI.
It features advanced cooling architecture of 5
system fans, 9 heat pipes and Acer Dust Defender. The display sports Tobii
eye-tracking technology that lets gamers identify enemies, aim and take cover
simply by gazing at objects on the screen in over 45 titles like Elite
Dangerous, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and WATCH_DOGS 2 and more.
There is a full-sized mechanical keyboard featuring
Cherry MX Brown switches, with individually programmable backlit keys, offering
16.7 million color options and Multi Gesture Touchpad. It sports new 3-way
(tweeter, midrange, woofer) audio design for Hi-Fi quality sound and is powered
by 4 speakers (2 tweeters, 2 midrange) and 2 subwoofers to produce a full
spectrum of sound.
It has 64GB DDR4-2400 memory, 1TB solid state drive
along with 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive. It has WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1,
Ethernet (RJ45) port, 2 x USB 2.0, 2 x
USB 3.0, 1 x USB Type C / Thunderbolt 3 Port, HDMI Port and SD Card Reader. It
has 2 Units of 330W Powerbricks.
It works with Windows Hello, supporting
password-free sign-in by face recognition. It comes pre-loaded with
PredatorSense software that allows users to control and customize central
interface, overclocking, lighting and fan control. In addition, the included
Xsplit Gamecaster software makes it easy for gamers to record and edit videos
and live streaming on Twitch and Youtube channels.
The Acer Predator 21 X comes in Black color, is
priced at Rs. 6,99,999, is available for pre-order from Flipkart and ships
starting from December 18th. The company said that only 500 units are made
worldwide.
