There were disappointments when the much anticipated
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 didn’t arrive on November 11 as widely speculated.
Nevertheless, this smartphone which has already been certified by TENAA is
expected to debut by the end of the month. There have been numerous renders and
speculations regarding this device and it appears that more renders will be
leaked before it finally arrives. Presently, a new render of the Redmi Note 5
just popped up online and it confirms that this smartphone comes with a thin
bezel coupled with the trending 18:9 widescreen display.
From previous speculations, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5
will be powered by a Snapdragon 625/630 chipset coupled with 3GB/ 4GB of RAM
and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. It arrives with a 5.99-inches FHD+
resolution display and will probably run on Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box
with MIUI 9 on top. In the camera department, this smartphone has a 12MP rear
camera which is supported by a 5MP selfie snapper. The lights of the Redmi Note
5 will be kept on by a large 4000 mAh battery and this phone is expected to
sell for about 1,000 Yuan (US$ 151).
