Xiaomi is known for
unleashing cheap and durable smartphones. While most people believe that the
cheapness of Xiaomi’s products is the key secret to its success so far, Xiaomi
India Managing Director, Manu Jain has said that its exciting products and the
incredible team played a huge role to its success.
This company is expected to
announce a budget-friendly full-screen smartphone before the end of the year.
The likes of Oppo F5, R11s, and Vivo V7+ are currently getting all the
attention in the market and Xiaomi is expected to unveil a product that will
lock horns with these devices. The Redmi Y series does not exactly have the
firepower and it is believed that the expected Xiaomi R1 with its full-screen
design will do battle with the aforementioned smartphones.
Now, a virgin render of a mysterious Xiaomi smartphone believed to be the Xiaomi
R1 surfaced online and speculations have it that this device will come with a
1,499 Yuan (US$ 227) price tag. There are no rumors or speculations with regards
to its specs, however, from the image this smartphone clearly uses a
full-screen, USB-C interface and it may feature a rear fingerprint sensor.
It
also seems to have a dual front camera system. Please note that this report is
unconfirmed thus the real deal could deviate largely from this one.
Nevertheless, with the upcoming December 5 launch of Redmi Note, Redmi 5, Redmi
5 Plus and Xiaomi Mi 6C, it is only a matter of time before we see something new
from Xiaomi
