Samsung just launched the Gear Fit2 Pro fitness
tracker with a new watch-style clasp and the Gear Sport smartwatch in India.
Both these were introduced at the IFA 2017. The Gear Fit2 Pro has a 1.5-inch
Curved Super AMOLED screen and built-in GPS and runs Tizen OS, similar to the
predecessor The Gear Sport has a 1.2-inch Circular Super AMOLED Always On
display and comes with GPS, Heart rate sensor and NFC for Samsung Pay. It has
easily changeable standard 20mm straps.
Both are 5 ATM certified for water resistance in up
to 50-meters of water and are MIL-STD-810G certified for durability. These have
Speedo’s swimming training app Speedo On that lets you track key swim metrics
including lap count, lap time, stroke type and more.
They also come with Auto Activity Detection
that can recognize whether you are
walking, cycling, and performing dynamic activities like dancing to playing
basketball.
The Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro comes in Black and Red
colors in small and large sizes and is priced at Rs. 13,590. It will be
available exclusively from Flipkart. The Samsung Gear Sport comes in Black and
Blue colors, is priced at Rs. 22,990 and will be available exclusively from
Amazon.in. Both these will be available from December 11th and pre-bookings
will begin December 4th.
