The new LEAGOO T5c will be the first phone in the
world equipped with the new 1.8GHz octa-core 64-bit Intel Airmont architecture
based processor Spreadtrum SC9853i. Built on Intel’s 14nm FinFET foundray
platform, T5c’s processor can provide quite an interesting alternative to the
lower midrange processors on the market.
According to the official data from Spreadtrum,
SC9853i is an octa-core chipset with 1.8Ghz frequency. The test result of
Antutu benchmark shows that SC9853i is 39% stronger than MT6750 , in which the
single-core performance and multi-core performance of SC9853i is 25% and 36%
stronger than that of MT6750 respectively. Thanks to Intel’s 14nm FinFET
technology, SC9853i’s power efficiency is also predominantly better than the 28nm
MTK MT6750.
LEAGOO T5c also features 5,5-inch Sharp FHD IPS
display, Samsung 13.0MP + OV 2.0MP rear dual camera with F/2.2 aperture, 3GB
RAM + 32GB ROM, large LG 3000mAh battery with 5V2A quick charge or the front
fingeprint scanner.
The best thing comes with the fairly affordable
price, because the the retail price is estimated to be at $129.99. So the
potential to be a budget killer is certainly there. The presales should start
soon and the actual market availability is predicted to be on December 5th. And
you even have a chance to snap up few pieces of the LEAGOO T5c for a crazy
price of US$ 1.99 during the official reservation on their website.
