Swedish camera maker Hasselblad last year launched
the X1D-50c, a ground-breaking medium-format mirrorless camera with ergonomic
and compact form factor that best suits photographers who need to travel light.
The brand has now introduced a new Field Kit includes the X1D base camera, the
30mm f/3.5 lens, the 45mm f/3.5 and the 90mm f/3.2 all packed into a specially
tailored Pelican case, providing “robust protection and easily transportable
equipment.”
The camera body itself offers robust build quality to take on
challenging conditions, and the rest of the kit makes it possible to shoot in a
variety of conditions. It also includes a spare battery, a hand strap and
shoulder strap, USB cable, a blower brush and lens cleaning pen.
The X1D camera, which is available in silver or
black, utilizes a 50-megapixel CMOS sensor to capture images and has an
extended ISO range of up to 25,600. The rugged pelican case has a custom cut
foam insert that protects the camera gear. The kit is priced at US$ 17,495,
offering a discount over the individual prices of its contents. The camera and
the lenses, if bought separately, cost a total of US$ 18,880, which excludes the
price of the case. The Hasselblad X1D-50c Field Kit will begin shipping on the
20th September, and is already available for pre-order.
