A new smart telescope design has been created called
the eVscope which provides users with a hundred times more power than that of a
classical telescope and offers a number of smart features to help you search
and discover interesting areas of the night sky you would have previously
missed.
Using a smartphone companion application areas of interest within the
night sky can be easily accessed and a partnership with the SETI Institute
allows you to leveraged the power of your telescope to contribute to space
science and research. The eVscope Smart Telescope has raised more than US$ 1.7 million via
Kickstarter with still 15 days remaining on its campaign.
