We have been hearing rumors about the new ZTE Axon M
foldable smartphone for some time, the handset is now official and we have all
the details and specifications on this new Android device.
The ZTE Axon M is equipped with two 5.2 inch displays,
each of which can be folded out into one display. The two displays both come
with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. When the displays are folded
away there is one on the front and one on the back.
Powering this new foldable Android smartphone is a
Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and the handset comes with 4GB of RAM. The
handset also comes with 64GB of included storage and if you need some more
there is a microSD card slot which takes up to 2TB.
This Axon M comes with a single camera, this is
quite rare with smartphones as most come with front and rear cameras. On the
rear of the handset there is a 20 megapixel camera with a f/1.8 aperture. This
camera can also be used in a front facing mode for taking selfies.
The handset is equipped with a 3180 mAh battery and
it comes with Android 7.1.2 Nougat, connectivity comes in the form of Bluetooth
4.2, WiFi and LTE. The handset will be exclusive to AT&T in the US and will
launch later in the year. As yet there are no details on how much this new
smartphone will cost.
