The black version of Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (4GB + 64GB) has been released and
just like the Mi 5X, sales of this device will commence on the 1st of November
with a 1699 Yuan (US$ 256) price tag.
Presently, Xiaomi’s official website has
only the golden version of Mi Max 2 in 4GB + 32GB (1399 yuan), 6GB + 64GB (1699
yuan), and 4GB + 128GB (1999 yuan) configurations. The addition of the 4GB +
64GB black variant has expanded user options. According to Xiaomi’s vice
president, Zhang Jianhui, the Mi 5X red version, and Mi Max 2 black version
will be available on online sales platforms and at the Mi Stores.
One of the major highlights of this device is its
large 6.44-inch Full HD screen with a huge 5300 mAh battery. It is powered by a
Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage
which is expandable via MicroSD card. In the camera section, Mi Max 2 comes
with a f/2.2 IMX386 12MP rear camera supported by a 5MP selfie shooter.
According to official data, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 can achieve 57 hours of talk
time, 18 hours of video playback, 9 hours of gaming, 10 days of audio playback,
19 hours of reading, and 21 hours of navigation.
