Western Digital has this week unveiled a new
addition to its HGST brand of hardware with the announcement of a new
enterprise class 14 TB hard drive which is equipped with “host-managed shingled
magnetic recording (SMR) technology”.
Unfortunately, no information on pricing or
worldwide availability has been released as yet by Western Digital or HGST, but
as soon as information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always.
