Vivo X20 alongside big brother Vivo X20 plus were
officially announced about a week ago with the Vivo V20 billed to go on sale on
Sept 30th in China. In line with that promise, Vivo has finally pushed the
device to the Chinese market as it is now available in China from various
retail stores including JD.COM, Sunisung, and Taobao. The device is also
available on Vivo’s China official website.
A check on JD.COM reveals the device is available at
a retail price of CNY 2,998 or about US$ 450 which is in line with Vivo’s
recommended retail price. The Vivo X20 is a watered-down variant of the plus
size Vivo X20. Both devices are Vivo’s first truly full-screen phones and its
answer to the increasingly 18:9 aspect ratio trend. It has a 3D arc design that
is designed to ensure a firm grip in your palm.
It has a 6.01-inch Full HD+ 18:9 Super AMOLED 2.5D
curved glass screens with 85.3% screen-to-body ratio. While other latest
devices in its category use Qualcomm series 800 chipset, the Vivo X20, however,
make do with an Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 with 4GB of RAM.
Camera-wise, the device is provided with dual rear
cameras: a 12MP and 5MP combination and a 12MP f/2.0 front-facing sensor. You

Black color options. You may still have to wait for the Plus size variant if you
prefer that, the model will cost ¥3498 (US$ 530).
