Onkyo, a well respected audio brand has just
announced the company's first smartphone, the Granbeat DP-CMX 1 designed to
play a range of Hi-Res audio files.
It can play lossless audio files DSD, DSF, DSD-IFF,
MQA, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, Ogg-Vorbis, MP3 and AAC for audiophiles and every
music lover who wants to hear great music even on mobile phones.
The Onkyo Granbeat has its own built-in DAC that
converts analog signal to digital and reduce noise and further suppress signal
degradation. It also has physical controls that allows users to control music
even if the handset is asleep.
