Hardware manufacturer NEC has today unveiled a new
addition to their high-end HPC product line in the form of the new SX-Aurora
TSUBASA Vector Engine, designed to provide increased processing “performance
and scalability on real-world applications”, such as Machine Learning,
Artificial Intelligence and Big Data analytics.
The SX-Aurora TSUBASA Vector Engine is not only
binary compatible and features the same hardware architecture and software
environment allowing developers to run the same application on a variety of
different systems without making any internal changes to their coding.
