Gigabyte AORUS X9

After previously unveiling their new AORUS X9 gaming laptop earlier this year, gigabyte have now announced its impending release, bringing a powerful gaming solution in a large form factor gaming laptop.

The Gigabyte AORUS X9 is powered by a 7th generation Intel i7-7820HK overclockable processor supported by 2 x GTX 1070s in SLI, 4 x DDR4 slots supporting up to 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory. Gigabyte also offers options for either a 17.3” 4K UHD IPS monitor or QHD 120 Hz WVA panel offering users a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Other features include ESS Sabre HiFi audio DAC, ‘quad’ audio setup with two speakers and two woofers, mechanical keyboard, RGB lighting, and the Killer DoubleShot Pro functionality via Rivet Network’s networking.

Two AORUS X9 gaming laptop configurations will be available before the end of October 2017 offering X9-KL4K4M which has the i7-7820HK CPU, 17.3” UHD IPS screen, GTX 1070 SLI, 2 x 16GB DDR4-2400, 1 x 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD and 1TB HDD for around US$ 3,649. With the second taking the form of a Newegg exclusive which adds another 512 GB PCIe NVMe drive for a total of 2 x 512GB and removes the 1TB HDD.
