Rugged phone maker ZOJI are never resting and, after
releasing the ZOJI Z6 and Z7 in the second quarter of 2017, they’re now going
to release yet another durable device – the ZOJI Z8. The new handset is said to
be the result of sophisticated craftsmanship and complicated processes,
together with an innovative design inspired by “Darth Vader” in the movie “Star

The ZOJI Z8 will feature simple and stylish edges,
with a thought out component distribution such as buttons, light sensor, as
well as the texture on the phone body and the decorative accessories, which
together give the smartphone a really innovative look. The ZOJI Z8 will be
available in Space Black, Vibrant Orange, and Army Green. They all feature the
same “Darth Vader” design philosophy but in different colors.
On the ZOJI Z8, each edge of the frame is made of
metal with a gloss coating on top. The side buttons are made with Zine-alloy
via CNC as well as specular oxidation technology. The back cover as well as the
side frame are all designed with textured patterns. Not the easiest phone to

phone itself. The smartphone meets the IP68 waterproof and dust-proof standard;
it uses the G+G Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with multiple touch support. Definitely
a tough phone.
The ZOJI Z8 features the useful OTG function, which
allows the phone to function as a charging station to share the power to other
devices and also to transfer data between devices. Configured with MediaTek
MT6750 octa-core 8x ARM Cortex-A53 1.5GHz CPU, ARM Mali T860 MP2@520MHz GPU,
