Samsung has started to take pre-orders of their
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in South Korea. The handset will launch in the
country later this month. Samsung will start shipping the handset to its
earliest customers on the 15th of September and the device will official launch
in the country on the 22nd of September.
The Samsung galaxy Note 8 costs KRW 1.09 million for
the 64GB model, this is about $965 at the current exchange rate. As a reminder
the Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED display. The display
features a Quad HD+ resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixel. The handset is powered by
a Snapdragon 835 processor in some countries and an Exynos 8995 in other
countries.
Other specifications on the Galaxy Note 8 include 6GB
of RAM and you can choose between 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The handset also comes
with two twelve megapixel cameras on the back. A 3300 mAh battery and a microSD
card slot which supports 256GB cards.
