Full-screen phones are all over the show, now leaked
photos confirm that Nubia is making a move in that direction too.
While Xiaomi might be credited with being the first
Chinese phone maker to release a full-screen phone, it is Nubia who was the
first to phones with zero bezels to each side of its devices. With edgeless
phone designs well and truly in the bag it was only a matter of time before the
phone maker made the move to phone with very minimal bezel at all.
These photos are said to be of the Nubia NX589J
which is believed to be the codename for the upcoming Nubia Z17 replacement.
Although the phone is highly disguised it is believed that the handset will be
the first Nubia smartphone to get a screen that spans most of the front of the
phone.
While the case does hide a few details of the Nubia
NX589J we can see the phone sports an oval home button which likely houses a
fingerprint scanner and gets dual rear cameras too.
In earlier leaks from TENAA it has been revealed
that the Nubia NX589J will boast a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 display, dual rear 13
megapixel cameras, a single 16 megapixel camera, 6GB RAM and 64GB internal
memory. The phone is believed to run on a Qualcomm chipset and will also
receive dual SIM support, Micro SD card memory expansion, a 3100 mAh battery and
Android 7.1.1.
