In the second half of 2017, Chinese manufacturing
giant, Meizu, has launched a lot of products which includes Meizu Pro 7, Pro
Plus, Meizu M6, M6 Note and Meizu Flow headset.
Current information suggests that the company is not drawing the curtain
on smartphone launch for the year yet. Teasers and poster leaks on Weibo
implies that Meizu MX7 will be released on October 11.
Meizu MX series is only behind Meizu Pro series in
terms of specifications and features thus the MX7 is expected to be a high-end
smartphone. This smartphone which is expected to sport an Helio P30 chip was
initially rumored to be released in September but that has turned out to be
false.
It must be noted that the October 11 release date
was not officially released by Meizu and the authenticity of the leaker cannot
be verified thus this may just be a rumor and nothing more. This leak leaves
some doubt because it suggests that Meizu MX7 will sport an in-display
fingerprint sensor which according to Qualcomm will not be found on a
smartphone till 2018.
Previous speculations on the specs of Meizu MX7
suggest that this phone will be powered by an Octa-Core Processor coupled with
4/6 GB RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB internal memory. It will run on Android 7.0 Nougat
with a 5.5 inches IPS LCD 1080 x 1920 pixels display. It is also speculated to
host a 16-megapixel shooter on both the rear and front with a 3100 mAh battery.
