Meizu’s Li Nan isn’t a fan of
Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2 and has publicly criticised the phone, but was that less to
do with having actual issues with the phone or more to do with the fact an
upcoming Meizu looks a lot like it?
Over the past few weeks, it has been revealed that
Meizu is working on a smartphone with this year’s must-have feature, a display
that stretches completely across the face of the device. The original details
came from Li Nan himself and they were quickly followed up with purported
teaser images of a phone named the Meizu mblu Zero.
Those rumours have not stepped a little further and
a full render of the smartphone has now been revealed on Weibo. Apparently, the
mBlu Zero will be launched in early 2018 as a flagship device spawned from
Meizu’s Blue Charm sub-brand. The mblu Zero is a flagship bezel-less smartphone
with dual rear cameras with a fingerprint scanner below them.
If this is really a render of the Maize mblu
Zero, which in all honesty we highly doubt, this is a little unimpressive given
that Chinese flagships have already started to confirm Face ID features.
