Today
Meizu has turned back towards the M6 Note smartphone it unveiled back in August
and graced it with a special edition.
The Meizu M6 One Piece special edition is styled to
remind you of the Japanese manga series. It features a black front and red
back, with red and yellow accents. The new paintjob isn't only on the outside -
the handset also comes with One Piece themed UI elements, including wallpapers,
icons and widgets. Fans of One Piece will surely be thrilled by this device.
Spec-wise, nothing changes compared to the vanilla
M6 Note, so you still get the same 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, Snapdragon 625
SoC, 12 MP + 5 MP dual rear cameras, 16 MP selfie snapper, and 4,000 mAh
battery.
The Meizu M6 Note One Piece special edition goes on
sale on September 25 for CNY 1,699 (US$ 257 or € 215) with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of
storage, and CNY 2,399 (US$ 363 or € 304) if you need 4GB and 64GB, respectively.
Note that this means you're paying a CNY 400 to 700 premium for the One Piece
design, depending on which model you choose.
