Sprint today became the first US carrier to confirm
the upcoming release of the LG V30+, which is expected to be a slightly
upgraded version of the V30 that LG announced hours ago at IFA 2017. LG
confirmed to us that the only difference between the two models is indeed
related to storage space: 64 GB on the V30, and 128 GB on the V30+.
Other US carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, and
T-Mobile, only revealed plans to release the regular V30, so Sprint could be
the only one to sell the V30+ stateside.
For now, we don't know how much the LG V30+ will
cost, and neither when it's going to be available to order. What we do know is
that, according to Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure, the phone is "coming
soon," so it might be released in the coming weeks or months.
