Huawei has announced the launch date for
its upcoming Honor 7X in China. It'll be the follow-up to the pretty successful
Honor 6X last year. In the Philippines, the Honor 6X is also known as the
Huawei GR5 2017.
Huawei hinted that the Honor 7X could come w/ a dual
camera setup w/ wide angle lens and optical zoom. Why? The Weibo message that
Huawei posted asked if users want to see farther than ordinary people and wider
your head and the world.
The Honor 7X could have a OnePlus
5 like camera setup which is unusual compared to Huawei's popular RGB +
monochrome dual camera sensor setups. Anyway, specs of this device are still
unconfirmed for now. According to rumors, it could have a 5.5 inch full screen
18:9 FHD+ display like the Maimang 6 or Nova 2i, Kirin 670 chipset, 4 GB RAM,
32 or 64 GB expandable to 256 GB storage, and 4,000 mAh of battery.
The Honor 7X could use a dual 12 MP sensor behind.
It is expected to run w/ Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS w/ Android Oreo update in
2018. Huawei will reveal the Honor 7X this October 11, 2017.
